Hi, welcome to Contrasons. I'm Ivan and the hiding one is Javi.
Today we'll do a musical trip to the eighties. We told you we like the darkness and today
we'll roll on it.
We'll start in Australia with a project from that days and we'll finish in Barcelona with
two bands from today that recover that sound.
We go to Australia in the early 80s with a band that sounded very European. These were
days of post-punk and synth pop but they sounded more industrial. They are Artificial Organs and the track we propose
is Every night a party
Now we come to Barcelona with a electro duo influenced by the 80s cold wave and industrial
music, by the 80s' darkness. A few month ago they published a 7". They just edited a LP
but we'll go back to the 7" edited by Burka for Everybody.
They are Y (Ypsilon) and the track we recommend is Viento Gris
And we stay in Barcelona. They are a trio and they give us their first reference from
the record label, Roam. As they were part from the less kitch movida madrileña. They
are Ciudad Lineal and we recommend Movimiento.
We hope you enjoy this trip through this three Barcelona record labels: Domestica, Burka
for Everybody y Roam. We wait you next week.
