[In the Zulu Language, SINGING] >>There is all the glamour in the Republic of South Africa [x2+]
But my election is on the African National Congress [x2+]
[In the Zulu Language, SLOGANEERING] >> POWER TO THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA!
[In the Zulu Language, SPEAKING] >>How I appreciate this opportunity!
>>My name is Goodman Manyanya, surnamed “Phiri”.
>> My “Phiri” clan is the oldest royalty, the world over!
>> Genetic testing will easily show us Phiris ruling the World as early as 50 000 years ago!
>> This is well before there is an Asian in the World.
>>Nor was there any European!
>>Us Royal Phiris THEREFORE gave the world its current civilization!
>>I do accept the fact, though, that we were long ago deprived of that kingship.
>>If those were my paternal roots, here are my maternal ones:
My mother is direct descendant of 19th-Century-Swazi-King Somhlolo a.k.a. Sobhuza I.
Indeed, ANC Founder Member, Swazi Queenmother Labotsibeni (a mother-in-law to ANC Founder Pixley Seme) is my maternal First Cousin.
It is Swazi Queen Mother Labotsibeni we should not be forgetting as we today celebrate the ANC Centenary.
Labotsibeni is the only one who materially came to the rescue of ANC Founder (Phiri’s maternal Second Cousin Pixley ka Isaka Seme)
The Swazi Queen Mother then parted with at least 200 head of cattle for the purpose of the founding of the ANC.
The ANC owes its material founding therefore to the Swazi, Royal Labotsibeni, and we congratulate the organization on its Centenary!
But something urged me to record this video!
For decades already now, a canker is developing in the ANC.
Smart Alecs dare not now say “Phiri has no voice in the ANC because Phiri is not a member.”
Hold your horses, you Johnnys come lately!
The ANC is for some of us a cultural home!
We may be PAC-, DA-, IFP- members all right..
..in our hearts of hearts, we know that the origin of all struggle in South Africa lies with the ANC.
The only struggle that predates the ANC is the struggle of our anti-colonial kings.
That royal and even armed struggle is epitomized in the 1906 Bambatha Rebellion.
The Rebellion, so brutally crushed by the colonialists because Zulus were fighting it single-handedly..
..became the prime lesson that inspired Advocate (Dr) Pixley Seme to consolidate ethnic unity in southern Africa before the next battle could take place against colonialism.
The Swazi Queen Mother Labotsibeni and the Zulu Pixley Seme achieved a lot in that respect and that is why we have freedom in South Africa today.
But Seme and Labotsibeni’s ANC has since been hijacked by tribalists, demigods, male chauvinists and greedy low lifers busy taking our struggle a hundred years back as of this moment!
These days, once somebody becomes ANC president, his entire extended family, wives, lovers and all of his fancies become not only mini-presidents with him, but they become overnight millionaires with unmerited and often corruptly-acquired high position holders in his South African government.
He himself becomes a demigod far beyond criticism except from the more daring of spirits!
This has resulted in greater poverty in 2012 South Africa even than there was during the darkest days of Apartheid!
If you don’t stop the ongoing greed as appointees of the ANC, get prepared for a fight this Year 2012!
[Sloganeering] Power to the People of South Africa!
[guitar sound to the original song by Phiri as spectator sloganeers in Zulu] “Blow them away, Phiri!”
