Saint-Émilion means...
both excellence,
and a diversity of terroirs,
it's true that there is a complexity in Saint-Emilion,
by this absolutely incredible diversity.
It's also a unique and inimitable red wine, a signature, but foremost a city, a history.
A history, because I would say that there is a notion of timelessness in Saint-Emilion.
It's a wine that's apart from the others, a unique wine,
and then, to me, it's a place that adopted me, it has been thirty years that I'm in Saint-Emilion and
I must say that people from Saint-Emilion gave me a lot and I learned a lot.
Obviously, we enjoyed it a lot and, I'm excited because I was involved in classical music, and it goes very well with it,
but I think that jazz, in the way that it's done here, thanks to Dominique Renard,
allowed us to see incredible artists, I never would have thought that artists of this level could have come.
We are here at the crossroad of quality,
quality you find in these great wines,
great wines and artists that are known across the world
everyone is here, to enjoy...
to me, these are great evenings!
There is something happening in Saint-Emilion, an energy, music brings you elsewhere.
Through these walls, through this medieval town, we see that...
Saint-Emilion does not fade, it goes through time, musics, and finally,
great wines go through time in the same way.
I think I would say a lion, proud of course,
and generous, a fairly tame lion, but one that is also proud to be observed.
By its majesty, but also elegance, fineness, smoothness but also strength.
I think the lion defines Saint-Emilion very well!
