This video will show you how to
reserve a group study room in Alden Library
Go to the library website (www.ohio.edu/library)
Click on the purple tab labeled 'services'
and then click on the link for group study room reservations.
On this page,
click on the red link that says 'click here to log in'
You will use your OHIO ID and password to log into the system
Once you are logged in,
look for the 'reservations' link on the left side of the screen
Now you have a calendar of available times for room reservations
Scroll down and look for an open time
one that is not blocked out by a solid color
The default calendar is for rooms on the 2nd floor
but you can also see a calendar for rooms on the other floors
To reserve a room, click on an open time
In the pop-up window set the reservation time for up to 3 hours
then click 'save'
You should receive an email from the reservation system
confirming your registration
At the time of your reservation
visit the tech services desk on the 2nd floor
or the service desk on the floor on which you have a room reserved
Bring your Ohio Student ID to check out a key to the room
If you have any questions,
ask a library staff member
or visit the library website and click 'Ask a Librarian'
