Hi everyone. In this video, I am going to walk you through the steps to enable MARC
record delivery at the standard collection level so that you can get MARC records for
the collections that you want.
So, here we are in Manage Collections under WorldShare Metadata. We've already enabled
our MARC record delivery at the institution level, so there some relevant collection level
settings that you will want to configure. For each collection, you can configure fields
relevant to how you've customized your MARC records, enable MARC record delivery, and
configure your delivery settings.
For my Allen Press Journals collection, I want to configure options specific to this
collection and customize the information for some of the titles in this collection. From
the search result, I click on the Allen Press Journals collection to display the titles
in the collection.
Now, if I want additional information added to some of the titles in this collection,
I'll click on the pencil next to the title to display the Title Details. If I want to
add a public note for this title, I can type a public note here. If I want a staff note
specific to this title, I can type the staff note here. If I also want to add coverage
note or location information to this title, I can go enter the information in the corresponding
fields. When done, click the Save button.
If I have the same customization done for all titles in this Allen Press Journals collection,
I would expand the collection's Properties accordion and enter the information here.
For example, if I want to describe the collection, I'll enter the information in the Description
field. I can also enter the notes and staff notes for all titles in the collection in
the corresponding fields.
Now, scroll down towards the bottom of the screen and look for Enable MARC Record Delivery.
You can choose to use (or to override) the setting you chose at the institution level
by clicking the Use institution setting option. If you do not customize this section, the
institution setting will be used for this collection. Here you can specify a different
delivery frequency for this collection, specify whether you want the records for this collection
to output in a separate file, whether or not to include your local holdings records and/or
your local bibliographic data and the OCLC symbol to use for local holdings records and
local bibliographic data, and whether you want to include new records for titles your
library already held in WorldCat.
When you are done with your customization for the collection, scroll to the top and
click Save to save your changes.

seen here. Thank you.
