Today, we're going to speak about the pros and cons of the netting technique.
Now, the netting technique can be done a couple of different ways. You can apply a net to
the hair with or without braids. So, some people just pull the hair back, put the net
on, throw the weave on. Some people put braids in the hair, and then they put the net over
the braids.
So, the pro with that would be that the net provides a little more protection with your
hair to help the braids stay in place. Another pro for that is for the actual person doing
the weaving. It allows them to have more space and area to attach your track anywhere they
want. So, if you have a thinning area, that the net covers it. So they can add tracks
to places they wouldn't normally be able to add tracks to. So those are very positive
things about the net.
Now, the con about the net is if someone puts it on your head without attaching it properly,
it can all come off at one time. So that means that it will come off as if it were a wig.
The other con that I have with the net, is you can't scratch your scalp as easily as
if you didn't have a net on it. Some people didn't like that. But, all in all, I think
that the net is a good thing, because it helps to secure your braids and add some protection
to your hair.
