What's Up y'all for Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson
Starbucks is a go-to for coffee lovers like myself, who usually wait in long lines and
pay ridiculous prices for a cup of brew, but an Illinois woman has had enough of Starbucks.
And not for the reasons I listed, but because she's sick of the amount of ice they use.
No, seriously. She's absolutely fed up and has decided to file a class action lawsuit
against the coffee chain, according to Courthouse News.
The woman filing the suit is Stacy Pincus, and in her lawsuit she claims that...
"A Starbucks customer who orders a Venti cold drink receives only 14 fluid ounces of that
drink — just over half the advertised amount, and just over half the amount for which they
are paying." -- Stacy Pincus.
There have been some strange lawsuits this year, like the New England Patriots fans who
tried to sue the NFL to recover their teams' first round pick, after Deflategate, but this
one is next level.
As for Ms. Stacy Pincus and her lawsuit against Starbucks, only time will tell if she'll receive
compensation. But since she's represented by notable Chicago trial lawyer Steven Hart,
this lawsuit might work out in her favor.
