Female 1: I've actually been very interested to try laser hair removal
for a long time because I'm naturally extremely hairy. I wax,
shave, thread, Nair, everything. I was looking for a more
permanent approach because waxing hurts and is expensive, and
shaving is time-consuming and you cut yourself. I don't want to
spend a quarter of my life removing hair. Today, I'm going to be
getting laser hair removal on my happy trial, which is not
looking so happy. Ladies, I know you know what I'm talking
about. Let's get started.
The next thing the nurses at Laser Away did was to grid the area
to make the work more accurate because we're dealing with a
bigger surface area, like staying inside of the lines.
Female 2: Here we go. What's your pain level here?
Female 1: I don't feel anything right now.
Female 2: Zero?
Female 1: Zero. It's actually a nice, refreshing coolness on my happy
trail. This is virtually painless. I'll never ever go back to
waxing again. You get better results for more permanent results,
and it's painless. That's it? We're all done?
Female 2: We're all done.
Female 1: No pain? I just got my laser hair removal on my not-so-happy
happy trail. At first I was a little concerned, because as an
African-American woman, I read that some lasers are not able to
distinguish hair from our dark pigment. That was not the case
here at Laser Away.
