Hi guys! Starting another I Could Kill For Dessert!
And today I'm going to prepare a Tiramissù Smoothie, for us to drink...
Look, the biscuit's rising...
... and I'm going to prepare a cookie that we can cut...
Oh my God, it's coming out from the other side!
That you can keep in the fridge, cut it at any time, bake it and eat it whenever you are hungry!
Let's do it?
We're are going to start with the frozen cookie.
The ingredients are:
200 grams of butter, at room temperature, unsalted.
It's one package, guys!
3/4 cup of coarse sugar,
315 grams of flour, that we are going to sift before preparing it.
1 teaspoon of salt,
1 egg,
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
and 1/2 cup white sugar, this is just for us to add in the end
to decorate the cookie, it won't be in the recipe, just in the end.
So, let's start preparing it?
Ok guys, we will need to mix all ingredients in the electric mixer.
I'm using the mixer's flat *** mode...
And... well...
The mixer's flat ***?
Well, if you don't have it at home, you can mix it all by hand and all... "Or... you could buy it"
but if you do have the flat *** it will be easier.
So, first you put the 200 grams of butter,
then the 3/4 cup of sugar.
And we're going to beat it a little, for around 3 minutes here.
And someone's got a message on the cellphone... my husband...
Who could it be?
Huh?
Ok, so here it's done.
Now I'm going to sift the flour in here,
one egg,
and we're going to mix some more.
"Separate the dough in two"
I'm going to get a handfull of pistachios.
And we're going to have to roll this as if it was a little tube.
"Some coarse sugar around"
"Spread it well to even the sides"
The important thing is that this becomes a tube that will fit inside this other tube,
that it's simply the tube from an empty baking paper roll.
"Keep calm now"
Look! Look! Look!
Are you going to shoot a firework?
So, now we just wrap both of them in plastic film.
Ok!
It's rolled!
The most important thing is to keep both edges sealed cause they're going to the fridge
and they shouldn't get the smell from the fridge.
And we're going to leave them for a while in the freezer
and I'm going to come back to prepare the smoothie, ok
So guys, the cookies are already freezing
and now we're going to make the tiramissù smoothie for us to drink.
The ingredients are:
1/2 cup of marcarpone cheese,
1 tbsp of heavy cream,
cocoa powder to decorate,
1 tbsp of water, that we're going to heat in the microwave,
1 teaspoon of instant coffee,
and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream.
The biscuits, we need two biscuits:
one for decorating and the other we're going to put in the coffee so it can be flavored.
So let's do the smoothie? Let's go!
So guys, I'm going to use the water that I'm going to put in the microwave to warm it up.
Then we're going to put the instant coffee here to dissolve.
And the mascarpone cheese and the ice cream we are going to put it in the blender and blend them.
So let's go!
So, now I'm going to dissolve the coffee on the warm water.
We're going to break some biscuits and crumble them on the coffee.
Don't you think this pot is too small for the amount of biscuits you are using?
Couldn't you put some *** there or something?
You want alcohol?
Well, it's saturday...
So I'm going to add some rhum in his...
Noooo!
Is this a good rhum?
You've got to be kidding me...
"Give it a little mix..."
Look at the biscuit rising...
The biscuits float a little bit, but oh well...
The tiramissù smoothie is ready!
Paulo's has some rhum.
If you want to add some rhum you can, if you don't, no need to.
Mine doesn't have it.
I'm going to cut the cookies and we'll be back to bake them.
You really want it?
Yes, I want to drink it now...
Don't you complain on me, ok?
So, I took the tubes out of the freezer.
They were there for 30 minutes but you can leave them there for as long as you want.
You can leave there for days, weeks, and whenever you need it, if you have visitors and you need to use it
just leave them outside of the freezer for 15 minutes so they can defrost a little,
Cut them and put them in the oven to bake.
The oven must be preheated to 180C and you will bake them for around 20 minutes.
So, let's go? Let's cut it?
So you can cut it like more or less 5... what's this? Millimeters?
It's millimeters, right? Centimeters would be too...
No, hum...5...no, 50...no, half milli... half centimeters?
What do you think?
Half centimeter?
500 milimeters!
So, I'm finishing the tray here...
I'm going to put it in the oven for 20 minutes,
and then you just take them off and they're ready.
So... listen guys...
I think that some of them...
Not some!
You can call it the "scrambled eggs" of the cookies, right?
The omelet didn't work, so make some scrambled eggs!
If you complain too much, you're not going to eat them!
So guys, we finished another show!
I prepared the cookies!
I know, it looks like it didn't work too well, but they're really tasty!
All you need to do is: don't put them to close from one another in the tray...
Give it a little space, and they won't stick together when they bake.
The smoothie was super tasty, you can't get it wrong!
It's right! It worked out!
And that's it!
Comment there, visit the website, tell us what you think that went wrong,
what went right, bug us!
Say whatever you want!
And that was another I Could Kill For Dessert, and you?
Are you going to eat or you're just going to complain about it...
