Hey Everybody, this is Bob from MusicStoreLive.com. Today we're taking a look at some Peekamoose
guitars and right here I've got the M3 with me. What I'm noticing about these guitars
is that they actually have a really nicely refined high end to them, they're very playable,
features like the plecked frets make them very easy to play, very, very easy for bending.
You can bend in and out of different semi tones and stuff a lot easier on guitars that
have fretwork this is nice. This has a mahogany neck with a great and rounded profile with
a Rosewood fretboard. The peekamoose M3 offers a lot of great different electronic possibilities,
and we don't have time to do all of those today but we're gonna focus on a few of them.
We have a 4 way switch here, all the way up we got both of the pick ups in series, here's
that sound...
If you want to run that neck humbucker in parallel, you take the master tone switch,
here, its got a push-pull on it, and you can now run that neck pickup in parallel, for
a little bit of a brighter neck sound. The master volume actually has a high pass filter
built into it so as you roll down the volume, you don't lose any high end which is really
nice. Even with the volume just barely cracked open, there's plenty of presence in there.
When you go funky, you got a little phase reverse mini switch right here, let's do that.
Let's just take a look at this term system for a second. Yeah, truly so responsive. This
thing doesn't go out of tune when you wail on the trem which is great. Alright, just
gonna crank it up for a second, gonna hear a little lead guitar on it. So that's the
M3 from Peekamoose, thanks a lot for checking it out!
