Well, that was one of the fun things about making the movie.
And what attracted me to the book was to think, like, okay, how are you going to do those.
How are you going to show what it's like behind somebody's mind?
And I've done a little bit - if you've seen my movie Limitless, with kind of creating
sort of a mind's eye view. And so, I just sort of took it the next step.
So, with the aptitude test, I took these mirrors, and I just like, okay, she moves through these
mirrors, and into this kind of different world where it's almost like it's optical but it's
also geographical. And then with the bird, I just thought, okay,
what is the most- what's the scariest thing- what terrifies me, you know, putting my feet
in her shoes, when she gets attacked by the birds.
So I added the mud into it, that she gets stuck in the mud, so she can't even run
from the birds so she gets attacked. So, a bunch of things like that. It was really
fun to do.
It was great, it was kind of like herding
cats in a way. But you know what, they're all really good
actors. There are just so many actors in the movie
who are all under the age of 24. And some of them are really...
ooooohhhhh!
Zoe Kravitz.
He made this all happen. He cast me in this movie.
Nice tie!
Anyway... so... we got rid of her!
We want her. No, we want her.
Anyway, so um, it was fantastic! She's a great actress.
And all of them are great.
Ben Lloyd-Huges, he's a great actress-er, great actor.
And they're all- and Kate Winslet's one of the best actresses of her generations- I mean,
it's like- it was incredible. I'm so proud of the cast.
