Today we are going to try Mazda 2. A 1,3 liters gasolin engine with 86 horsepowers
5 doors in Takara edition with lots of equipment
Can Mazda keep up in the market of the b-segment where there are rough
competion in Denmark?
Let's find out!
It has very clear instruments
It is nice to look at, well designed and logical
This will not be a wrong decision
Well, the engine is not without noice, but on the other hand it's well wrap up
The gearbox er delicius, precise and firm as you expect it in a Mazda
The suspension is also a very good compromise
The steering is not too light or too heavy
It's very well build all together
That's the first impression. You feel at home right away
And then there has been done a big update in the quality of the interior in here
It might be some conservative, but it's in a good way
But this engine it's not like a bully
It's not like you're being pressed back in the seat and find it funny and the
suspension is not like it set the stage to some funny driving around the corners
It can do stuff, but it's not a car you are going to take out for a fun ride
In this Takara equipment edition it has got some new features, but it's not
overwhelming with equipment
But we have of course a AUX-line and an extra 12 volts socket and so on
Everything looks good. Everything is very precise
It's simple. You know how to operate it
There's nothing you have to learn first
It functions well
Though, I think there are some things missing
In a car produced in 2012, where's the start/stop function?
There are room for 3 people back here. At least there are seatbelts for 3 people
It should not be big people. It's not a big car, but with that in mind the space is
quite ok
It's a pretty regular boot it has such a Mazda 2, but the loading edge is quite
high
There's a long way down. You could really use a double floor as you see in a lot of
other cars
In Mazda 2 they have chosen to have a spare tire
Mazda usually use this instead of a foam system
Mazda 2 is a rock solid car. You're getting a lot of good car for your money
It's almost too sensible!
But I miss something a little odd, something that would make it a little more
exciting
Also it's like Mazda 2 just need the extra new features as start/stop, hill assist and
why not give more years warrenty when Mazda has made such a good product?
It's hard to conclude on this one, but it's definitely a really good and sensible car
