Hello my name is Andrew Campbell, welcome to AC Silver.
This fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver teapot is quite a
magnificent example.
It has an oval rounded form, on to a rectangular domed foot with rounded corners.
The lower portion of the body, dome foot, and cover are embellished with embossed fluted
decoration.
It has further fine and impressive applied decoration.
It is fitted with a most magnificent carved ivory handle with silver sockets.
This depicts an uncoiling snake.
The flush hinged hallmarked cover retains the original carved ivory finial.
It has a very impressive swan necked spout.
All the decoration is very crisp and sharp.
At a weight of 34 troy ounces it is an excellent gauge of silver.
Certainly the quality is that of Paul Storr.
The highlighted features of this exceptional teapot make it one that could be sold with
my highest recommendations.
If you require any further assistance or information regarding this exceptional teapot, please
do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email.
