Hi, I'm Chef Isaac from Cuisines by Isaac on behalf of Expert Village. And today we
are going to discuss how to make a Pork roast. Okay, here, I've got a Pork roast. And I went
to the butcher and had it specially cut up. And we're going to take it out of the bag
here. It?s a Pork Roast. And now we are going to rinse the meat off. Basically you rinse
the meat off; actually, anytime you buy anything from the store and come out of the store,
you want to rinse it off just to make sure that it doesn't have anything on it that it?s
not supposed to have. And basically I'm just looking at it and inspecting it to make sure
that everything is as it should be. I'm not really trying to take anything apart. I'm
just giving it a good rinse to make sure there isn't anything extra that I don't want. And
really that's why I am rinsing it off. Now I'm going to pat it dry. Basically, you want
to pat it dry so it doesn't have any excess moisture that I really don't want on it. Okay
what we are going to do here is just sort of inspect it one more time real quick and
trimming excess fat off. Right here, we're going to trim it right down. Take the excess
fat; throw it off to the side like that. Now what we are going to do is apply our salt
and pepper. We'll salt one side. Now I'm a flip it over salt the rest of it. Keep going.
Then I'm going to take my pepper and put pepper all over it. Roll it over. Basically there
we have it. This is basically how I'm going to prepare the pork roast. We add a little
salt and pepper. Just basic seasonings and this is all we're going to do to it until
we put the rub on it.
