We're going to talk about a basic quarter pipe ramp trick which is doing a board stall
and rolling away 180 degrees. You are going to approach the ramp like you would with any
normal trick at moderate speed knees bent, lift your front truck and wheels over the
copping stall quickly, pivot your back wheels shift your weight to the back of the board
bend your knees and roll away. The key to this trick is to make this trick one continuous
motion. Don't waste time stalling on the top of the deck. Simply tap it, pivot on your
back wheels, keep your knees bent and roll away. The most important part of this trick
is pivoting on the back trunks wasting too much time and stalling at the top of the deck
can cause you to come hung up and fall down on the ramp. Make sure it's quick tap until
you hear the deck tap pivot in the same position and roll away. With a little practice, you
can get better doing board stall and 180 out and start learning more advance flip tricks
on several quarter pipes and half pipes.
