And you want to find a job or internship Or meet and connect with new contacts in your
chosen field Then your preparation for the field should
be more in depth Create a priority list of organizations
And then conduct your research and generate questions specific to your top organizations
Update your resume Create and rehearses your elevator speech
And the day of the fair dress professionally You can begin with the list of the organizations

Remember many employers are looking students with any major
Its important that you research each organization that interests you
Start a prioritized list And do extra research on those you think you'd
like to work for Look at their websites
Their linkedin Or facebook pages
And maybe even research current newspaper articles
Keep a list of questions for potential employers based on your research
And bring those questions with you to the fair
Some sample questions include What can I do to prepare for a career in this
field Through my academics, activities, and my work
experience What types of projects could I expect to work
on at your organization And what are the qualities that and abilities
that you look in the ideal candidate You wanna make sure that your resume looks
professional And conveys your strengths, skills, and experiences

Take some time to think about what you'll say to recruiters at the fair
You'll want to develop a 30 second personal commercial
Or elevator pitch so they are called You'll want to include
Your major Your year of graduation
And whether your looking for an internship or full-time position
And relay your background as it relates to the employer
