Hello and welcome to the 12th video in this series of films, which is documenting my progress
from someone that wasn't very good at presenting to someone that is an excellent presenter.
The means by which I am doing this, is by applying the same coaching techniques I use
for my clients on myself. Specifically, I am using a technology called New Code NLP.
What this is allowing me to do is to progress much, much more rapidly towards that intention
of becoming a great public speaker. So, why should you watch this video? Keep watching
to find out! So, here's the reason why you want to carry
on watching this video. Today, I am going to carry on talking about creativity and how
to be creative. Now, if you remember, in the last video, I spoke about the difference between
creative and creating, and I also promised that there would be another exercise. Now
this is the exercise for today. What I would like for you to do now is to
imagine that I'm a painter and this here is a blank canvas. Now, I have three paint pots
at my disposal. I have a red paint pot here; well, it is a pot with red paint in it. I've
got a pot with blue paint in it here and I've got a pot with yellow paint in it here.
So, I am going to start the process of creating something. So, I'm gonna take some of this
red paint and pop it just there. Now, a little bit more red, a bit more red. So, I've got
this lovely deep red here and I'm going to carry on creating something , so I'm gonna
take some of the blue paint from here and just pop it just there. And, I'm gonna take
a really big dollop of this yellow paint and I'm gonna mix it in with this blue; really
mix it in. Proper finger painting going on here. Off we go and eventually, I'll get a
nice, luscious green. So I've got this lovely, luscious green and this red.
So, I'm gonna carry on creating. So, I'm gonna take this luscious green and I'm gonna put
it up here, and I'm gonna take the red, the deep red, and I'm gonna put it up here. Again,
mix it altogether and really get it all mixed up; more finger painting. And, I'm gonna get
all that done and now I've got this really nice golden brown; lovely golden brown.
Now, I want to carry on creating, but I want to be creative and I'm a bit stuck. I have
this brown; I just don't know where to go. I really don't know what to do and this is
where you guys can come in. How can I be creative now?
Let me know in the comments below. It could be a video response or it can be just words
that you write, but do let me know how I can carry on being creative. It will be really
useful for me. Thanks very much and I will see you in the next video.
