For our beaded tassel we're going to make a bead; I have some air drying modeling clay
and a skewer, if you don't want to make your own bead you can purchase a wooden bead or
anything that you find in a craft store like that. To make our bead you just want to take
some of this air drying modeling clay and, and pinch off a bit and make a circle by rolling
the clay in your hand until it's smooth about the size that you want. Now when you put the
beads on it; it's going to make the ball a little bit larger so keep that in mind and
make it nice, and round and then pierce a skewer through the middle; and kind of wiggle
it around a bit to enlarge the hole so that the skewer so that the skewer doesn't fit
exactly in. Now if you; if you have plans to put a thicker cord in there you want to
use something wider than a skewer so keep in mind what kind of a cord you want to run
threw there and after you've pierced it just one more time shape it to make sure that you
like the shape, and we're going to let it dry on the skewer like this. Now if; it's
a good thing as long as you're doing this to make several and line them up over a dish
or a bowl like this to air dry, and this should take; you could let it dry over night.
