Hi, my name’s Neil Haydock and I’m here with Rodda’s to make the ultimate creamy
mash. Mash is everybody’s favourite comfort food.
The key to a great mash is a great potato, and great ingredients. We’ve got some fantastic
butter here, and some clotted cream. What we’re going to do first is mash the
potato, so it’s all nice and smooth. This is a great stress buster. If you’ve had
a tough day at work, you can really put your back into it, get all those lumps out.
Once it’s all nice and smooth we’re ready for the butter and the cream. Good couple
of spoonful’s. Work that in, and then we’re ready for the butter. Nice big dollop.
Ok, we’re ready for the seasoning now. Good pinch of white pepper. Salt. And again, just
work that through. So mash is lovely and smooth now, it’s ready
to go into the bowl. And just to finish, a *** of butter. And
there you have it, the ultimate creamy mash.
