Alright, let's find out about the difference
between a standard, cheap ballistic pair of glasses,
priced around 10 euro's,
which most people start with,
and a somewhat more expansive pair from SwissEye who claim
to have a special anti-fogging coating.
The glasses I am wearing now are a standard pair.
Nothing special,
ordinary
ballistic plastic
and that's about it.
Clear, for now.
Sometimes, in winter, I use a shemagh,
To keep myself covered
and protected.
A disadvantage of a shemagh is that warmth and humidity are trapped. I do not know if you can already
see it on the camera
but within
around 5 seconds the glasses are
completely fogged over.
Once the glasses are fogged over, the question is also how long
it will take to unfog.
I am not very warm now.
I'll clear it for now.
It is clearing up slowly.
One glass is already clear,
the other not quite.
But, it is alright now.
Around 15 seconds if you are not too warm yourself.
Now, the same test
with the SwissEye glasses.
Hm, would I do something wrong?
No, I just won't fog at all.
Alright, back to the standard glasses.
Test two.
A cup of tea.
Santé!
Blow a bit and.... yes, fogged over.
And this time
inside and out, I think.
And around 10 seconds later, clear again.
The SwissEye glasses.
I can see there is some fluid on the glasses.
My image is getting just a very little bit unclear.
At appears the coating is made in such a way
that the fluids stick to it in a different way
so it will not fog over
but just remain a watery film of sorts.
Nope, not foggy.
Yes, fogged over. I do not know if you can see it?
Still completely clear.
For me it is all clear,
I will choose the SwissEye.
Is delivered with
with an extra pair of grey
sunglasses so
for the money, don't hesitate.
