Okay, guys, this is called the free mount, as opposed to the assisted mount. This is
much more difficult, and it's more challenging, but it's more worth it too, in that when you
fall off you can get back on anywhere. You don't need a wall, you don't need anybody
to help you get on, it's all on you. You're going to make sure when you tuck everything
up and under, everything is cool in the groin area, make sure the pedals are parallel to
the ground, okay, and you start off with the pedal that's closest to you. So you put your
foot on the pedal that's closest to you, and then basically what you're going to do is
you're going to use a little thrust, and you're going to jump up, and you're going to catch
your right foot on the opposite pedal. So you jump up, and you catch your right foot
on it. Now, the one really dangerous aspect to this is if you under-compensate your foot--if
you don't go high enough, if you go too low, you're going to catch it right in your shin.
So, again here like this and whenever you feel comfortable you're just going to go ahead
and jump. Now this is what happens when you over-compensate for it, because see it's easier
to go higher jump over than it is to go under. So, you get everything in line, you put your
left foot on, and then you count to three, you get your confidence up, and you just jump
up and grab it. And you're going to have to catch your balance very quickly. So you count
to three, one, two, two and a half, two and three quarters, jump, catch it on your foot,
and ride.
