To sports now with Tumamao Harawira.
Tena koe, Tu.
All Black Piri Weepu is under the spotlight again
for carrying too much weight - what's the latest?
Most of what's being said isn't about his weight,
but about the way he's playing.
Since the beginning of the year, his playing game has suffered
and perhaps it started with his weight gain.
Most are saying that Piri Weepu is in hanging on at fifth
in the ranks of the best half-backs in the Super 15.
Most are saying he shouldn't even be in the All Blacks.
Do you think these will be his last few games for the All Blacks?
If he doesn't sort himself out then that could be the case.
It could be the end of his All Black career.
But next year, if he returns to his former form,
he'll still be wearing the black jersey.
He's got some good skills.
Now the Maori All Blacks are also in Europe,
but it's been reported that Sky won't be covering the Canada game -
what do you think of that decision?
It seems to be a financial decision,
seeing as not many people would be interested in watching.
Others are saying that it could be something else,
and some have even hinted at a racial aspect.
As for me, I don't believe either side.
At the end of the day, from February to November,
we've had nothing but rugby
so I think everyone has had enough of it in the past 10 months.
To rugby league now -
the Warriors are in training under former Raiders and Panthers boss
Matthew Elliott and Carl Jennings.
Dawn till dusk, according to some, for the whole week.
From dawn till dusk,
these boys have been working to the bone.
Are there benefits?
Perhaps.
If the players are listening to what their coaches are telling them,
then something will come of it.
From the last league series, their fitness failed them.
They weren't the fittest players in the league and they struggled
in the second half of the NRL.
So by focusing on their fitness,
I think something great will come out of it.
The FastNet netball competition starts tonight.
What teams are involved, who will win?
Well there are no other teams but the two top ones; Australia and NZ.
I want NZ to win the title, but Australia has a strong team.
Tumamao Harawira, thank you for your time.
