the other day Bill Nye Bill Nye the Science Guy
and the I guess the president or the curator of the Creation Museum
Ken Ham debated okay I had mixed feelings about whether this was a good
idea or not the debate
was certainly one that what
a scientist at the same level as some guy who believes the earth is six
thousand years old and God designed everything
so conceptually from abroad pointed you I
I had a little bit of a problem with it however it did lead to something
interesting which is pat robertson
saying that creationism is a joke
this is the same pat robertson who said that
demonic object in your house could cause headaches or that
low-carb diets violate God's principles or
that people who donate money to their church don't have financial
or health problems or that faith healing is like
Santi clause not santa claus
but Santy Claus that gays destroy society
that gays can change just like murderers and rapists
anyway the same pat robertson who said all of that stuff
also said this in response to the Bill Nye
Ken Ham debate let's face it there was a bishop in the
middle ages there who a
1807 are who I ended up the dates listed
in Genesis and he came up with the world manner after six thousand years
the ain't no way that's possible
you know anybody is in the all-business
knows that he's drilling down he'd killed and two
thousand nice to me two miles three miles for miles on the ground you coming
and all these layers a bleed them but the
national and we have skeletons and dinosaurs it go back to bother
the one point 65 million years and
to say that it all came about and six thousand years is just nonsense and I
think the timely
become offer that stuff and say this is impossible
and but that means so there was a big *** so
a and that that Maynard Keynes spontaneously nobody knows what caused
the Big *** but I say God that it cuts in charge of all this
dungeon control and he is the author law life
but we've got to be realistic that the dating ok
Bishop assured just doesn't comport with anything that is found in science and
you know you can't just totally deny
the geological formations that are out there the rock formations and all the
things into all the world especially the bones
okay he still does say that God caused the Big *** but
this is actually kind of a big deal Louis if pat robertson
thinks that your too much a fundamentalist right-wing Christian it's
getting in the way of logic reason and science
yours so far out there that you're not even on this planet yeah
this is great I i mean it's good that he can admit that some other things in the
Bible should not be takin
literally I and that's important and I i'm glad
I'm glad it be someone in his position is saying something along these lines
if you're a right-wing Christian and pat robertson
is the boy so reason telling you that you might be a little bit too extreme
it might be time to reevaluate your life don't you think
well that's not going to happen is that David
I probably not I'm still getting emails and back I'm going to read you a very
interesting letter
a little later today
