I want to give you an important tip to avoid rice from getting sticky while making biryani.
If the rice is too sticky then the texture of the rice isn't very good
To prevent this from happening, boil some water, put 1/2 tbsp of clarified butter (also known as ghee),
and 1/4th or 1/2 squeezed lemon juice, depending on the lemon's size
If it's a big lemon then use 1/4th and 1/2 if it's a smaller lemon.
After the water has boiled, then wash the rice and add it
Then boil it again for sometime and then turn off the gas and drain all of the water
This will prevent the rice from being too sticky and give it a nice texture
