So now we are going to take a look at the first couple of bars here. We are in C major
again remember we have our C7 chords that we start off with the C7 left hand. Basic
root chord, 5th chord, root chord, 5th chord, and then our right hand so middle C is written
right here on this line below the staff. So we have 1,2,3,4, so this is our sharp 4 going
into 5 and then you have a sharp 5 going into the 6. So this is a good example of chromatic
writing so we have and then it just goes 6,6,7,6,5 and this called notice how we got a 3 here.
This is a triplet a quarter note triplet so these 3 quarter notes fit in 2 beats. So we
have this 1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2 so it is a 3 over 2 feel and you would be able to hear
it and mimic what you hear melodically and that is the best way to approach it. so now
we are gong to go through and play so we start right here sharp 4,5,3. So now if you look
at my hands we have sharp 4, sharp 4 to 6,7,6,5. So nice easy melody as we open up our blues
on the accordion the accordion love of blues.
