Warnings can be placed on an image to indicate if the exposure is out of range.
By default shadow warnings are not shown.
To activate them, go to the exposure section in the preferences and mark
the check box enable shadow warning.
Adjust the slider to the preferred threshold and change the color if necessary.
Now the exposure warning shows in red and blue the areas that are outside our selected range.
Using the exposure and HDR tools, its easy to bring the exposure back in range.
If the exposure warning is a tool that you frequently use, consider placing
a short cut icon for it on the tool bar.
Right click on the tool bar and choose Customize tool bar.
Then drag the exposure warning icon to the tool bar.
Then simply toggle on and off when necessary.
