As professors, we're always looking for the best way
to engage our students, and digital technology gives
us the opportunity to look at different ways of
presenting content to our students.
The investment that Ohio State has shown that it's
willing to make, in class (face to face class), as
well as hybrid classes, as well as distance education
is something very very meaningful.
The wealth of resources that we have at a
University like Ohio State is pretty amazing.
We have so many people at this University who are
willing to help teachers like me provide those kinds
of resources so that I can do the best work that I
can do with my students.
As soon as we use a polling device or other
kinds of interface devices, everybody's in a position
where they're saying "I don't understand why we're
not doing this all the time".
And that's what I feel is the real takeaway for me
as a teacher.
The students don't just like it, they're saying
"That was valuable to me, I want to do more of
that".
