Erik: What is getting easier and what is getting harder in your life?
Richard: The little things probably are easier. In my life, personally, you know, there are
things that I don't have to worry about anymore because other people worry about them. But
I think the big things get harder and harder, the strategy for the business, you know, where
we're going in the long term. You know, making small decisions, I have to deal with fewer
of those things on a day-to-day basis. You know, we have a great team of people at Moo
who, you know, very autonomous, and very self-starting, and kind of get on with it and deal with the
stuff, so I'm lucky in that sense. But the big questions, you know. 'Where are we gonna
go? What's our destiny? What's our role in the universe? What role do we play?' Those
are some big questions, and I think those are quite hard to answer. I think we have
a sense of what we want to do but yeah that's pretty tough. And finding time to relax, off
for a bit in the year, away for just a second, finding time is hard, finding time for anything.
I think, you know, running a business is a full-time job, but if there's anything that
goes beyond the full time it's definitely that. So just making time for stuff, whether
that's family or whether that's just, you know, finding time to do all the work that's
there to be done. That's always really tough.
