Every woman should get to know her body, especially her ***. A woman's *** is located in
the region called the pelvis. There are two openings on the front of the pelvis, the urethra
and the ***. The urethra connects to the bladder, and this is where urine exits the
body when you urinate. The lower opening is the ***, which connects to the uterus.
The *** and urethra do not connect and are completely separate. The *** extends
into the body and runs lengthwise for several inches. Every 28 days or so *** occurs
when the lining of the uterus is shed. The menstrual fluid comes from a tiny opening
in the *** and passes through the vaginal canal as it exits the body. The *** is
actually the bottom part of the uterus that hangs down slightly into the vaginal canal.
If you were to feel the *** with your finger, it would feel a bit like the tip of your nose.
The Softcup sits in the space just below the *** and collects the menstrual fluid as
it comes out. The rim of the Softcup fits into place behind the *** bone on the front
side of the vaginal canal and is held in place by the surrounding muscles. The *** bone
is located right inside the vaginal opening and feels like a hard ridge. The front of
the Softcup rim sits just behind this ridge, while the back of the rim sits back past the
***.
