And now it's time for our regular arts and culture segment with Michelle Kim.
To start the week, I hear she has a couple of albums she would like to introduce to us.
Hello Michelle
Hello Conn-young
So what albums do you have for us today?
Music fans, get ready, because I'm about to tell you about two awesome albums by two legendary
stars Bon Jovi and David Bowie. Take a look.
Bon Jovi has put out its 12th studio album and its first in four years.
"What About Now" contains 16 new songs, all emphasizing their signature melodies and soaring
lyrics.
The lead single, "Because We Can" swept the top spots on iTunes charts in 12 countries
and the song "What About Now" sends a message of hope.
The album cover is a unique illustration by acclaimed Chinese artist Liu Bolin.
It also uses so-called augmented reality technology that makes the mural come alive when a smartphone
or tablet app is pointed at the cover.
Glam rock pioneer David Bowie has made a glamorous come back with his 27th studio album and his
first in a decade, and his passion for music shines through, cementing his place as one
of the legends of rock.
"The Next Day" has received widespread critical acclaim, with The Independent praising it
as "the greatest comeback album in rock'n'roll history" and "as good as anything he's made."
Bowie kept the album a secret for two years during the recording process and its release
was announced on his sixty-sixth birthday.
