Memories of days gone by form into twisted words
Each day to day drifting along the same horizon line
Even if the rain from a bygone age
Blocks my path, nothing will change
I looked up at the sky, at dreams of distant days
But no matter how long I stare they are beyond me
But since even the past I’ve lost must be somewhere
I continue to wait
The light bleeding through illuminates the sea floor
But even as I touch it, I feel it is incomplete
Even if sincere sounds from long ago
Have lost their meaning, nothing will change
Fate is made of faith, circumstance and coincidence
Not knowing exactly what tomorrow will bring,
“Was the world I wished for just an empty ideal?”
I stand in fantasy
Even if the rain of a bygone age
Blocks my path, nothing will change
I looked up at the sky, at dreams of distant days
But no matter how long I stare they are beyond me
But since even the past I’ve lost must be somewhere
I continue to wait
