Big E & The NAO retain, Cameron defeats the Divas Champ by DQ and Spanish Announce table
Abuse continues to run wild. This is the Elimination Chamber, 2014.
It was the faction feud of all faction feuds that finally awoke the sleepy Minneapolis
crowd for tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber PPV. The Shield vs The Wyatts was a heavy
mix of explosive, electric, chaotic, entertainment, more than living up to all of the hype. Ambrose,
Rollins and Reigns showed true strength and athleticism when confronted by Bray & company,
with the family serving up their own brand of backwoods offense. Amidst the brawls and
near falls, Rollins gets dropped through the Spanish Announce table, Ambrose is left laying
in the crowd, leaving Reigns to ward off the Family on his own, to no avail. The Wyatts
come out on top… leaving us breathless and with our fingers crossed for a Wyatt-Shield
2 Showdown at Mania. Batista goes over Del Rio in a forgettable
bout that saw the fans heckling and underwhelmed. Batista’s attitude at the end of the match
didn’t help his case, telling ringside onlookers to “Deal with it”
Sheamus is the first victim of the Chamber, followed closely by Christian. Cena cuts down
Cesaro, then soon after the Wyatts exact revenge on Cena by interfering and taking him out
of commission. Against my wishes, instead of letting The Wyatts kidnap Cena, Corporate
Kane ejects them from ringside and breaks up a near fall Bryan had over Orton. . Orton
retains and the crowd was not happy, as own through multiple cuts to dumbfounded audience
members. The Wyatts and The Shield absolutely stole
this show, with the interferences in the Chamber match making for some interesting story progression
in what would’ve been an otherwise straight forward fight, peppered strength spots by
each man. What did you think of the 2014 WWE Elimination
Chamber? And what will be the fall out on Monday Night Raw? Let me know, in the comments
