The family of Qader Mollah has asked to have the verdict of his death penalty reviewed, which has been sent to the jail he is in yesterday.
The family held a press conference in supreme court lawyer association building where they demanded the review.
They also asked for a re-investigation to be conducted, by a neutral organisation, of all the human rights violence charges brought against him.
Hasan Jamil, son of Qader Mollah said it is permissible in the constitution that Qader Mollah has the right to review the verdict given against him, but the government is rushing to hang him, which is clearly against human rights.
The rush surrounding the verdict to hang him, without following protocol - not only is it illegal, it is completely against global human rights.
To save an innocent life, we request that the verdict is reviewed by an independent and neutral body, in order to come to the correct conclusion.
