Hello everybody, it's Andrew here again. In this video, I'm going to show how to turn
on monetization of your YouTube videos, allowing all original content creators to choose to
display adverts on their videos and have the chance to earn money.
The first thing you need to do is sign into YouTube, come to the top, and click on Video
Manager. From Video Manager, head to Settings and on the left hand side, click on Monetization.
And at the top, click the button that says Monetize Videos. If it's the first time you're
doing this, you'll just have to accept some terms and then you're free to go to the Video
Manager and select the videos that you want to monetize.
You can choose up to 10 videos at a time to monetize. All you need to do is select the
video or videos that you want to, click Actions, and then monetize. Then you can choose the
type of adverts you want to appear in the videos - either an overlay, one that comes
before videos, or if you've got product placement, you can learn how to do that too. Click Monetize,
and a dollar symbol will appear next to the monetized videos.
To remove the monetization, click on the dollar symbol and choose Do Not Monetize. Click Save
Changes and the monetization is gone.
Okay, that's all for this time. My ebook, 500 Social Media Marketing Tips is available
on Amazon.com for Kindle and Smashwords.com for lots of other devices. Thanks very much,
good bye.
