Well we do quite a lot it’s quite a broad course, so we’ve got everything form sort
of the programming to the studio techniques to kind of all the, everything in-between
really, even down to live sounds and AV and it’s such a broad course we do everything
really. One of the reasons I chose the course was they really focus on getting the new tech
you know they focus on updating all the labs and the studios and stuff, it’s all very
up to date, very modern.
Well, I’d say the most important skill I’ve learnt on the course that will help me in
the future will be people skills to be honest with you, I’ve now learnt that I love talking
to people.
I think that one of the things that Bournemouth University does opposed to the other Uni’s
is it gives you much more of a commercial backing, a lot of them they teach you just
sort of the standard skills, you know this is how you program or this is how you wire
a venue for live sound, they don’t really teach you how to make it commercial, I think
that’s the one thing Bournemouth University does better than all the other courses that
I looked at.
Well I’d like to take any of my skills that I’ve learnt here and move forward with them
into the industry, I’m quite looking forward to it to be honest.
I mean I’d love to work for any of the big companies, you know Focusrite, BBC, Sony any
of the big ones, it’s all within reach so, feeling good.
I’m staying here for the next few years definitely yeah, I really love the south coast
and I love the lifestyle.
