Hello YouTube and welcome to my tutorial on how to use shopkeepers on my server MCMania!
Full credit goes to the developer of the plugin. First of all, you want to grab yourself a
chest, and it has to be a recently placed chest. So then, you get a villager egg; you
can buy these from the spawn from the Miscellaneous villager (who's just called "Misc." for short).
So then, you right click the chest and then you just (you don't have to do this [cycling
the egg type], it's just because I have all of the permissions), but then you just right
click a space next to it. It should create the villager! And it should give you a message
saying so. So, you shift and right click on your villager and it will open up the editing
menu, where you can do things such as...if you watch his robes, you can change its colour
to the same colour as the wool. So, we'll go ahead and get rid of that. So, you can
go, for instance, if you would like your villager to sell grass (which I'll give myself) and
you put grass in there (chest), then you'll see the grass appear here (shopkeeper editing
menu)! Any items you put in the chest will be along this top row here, so, if you're
wanting to sell your grass for say 1 ghast tear, you would shift and right click, grab
your ghast tear, and drop it here (underneath grass block in shopkeeper edit menu). So then,
it will appear here (in the shopkeeper interface) as one ghast tear for one grass block. And
the ghast tear will be in the chest, and the grass block will be gone from the chest. Note
that normally you can't trade with your own villager, it's just for the purposes of this
video that I am trading with my own villager. But, you can also add things to extra slots
so, for instance, if you wanted to sell sand as well, I will show you how to increase and
add more slots. So here is the sand, so I would like to sell that for one nether wart,
well...one stone apparently it's given me, so one stone and one cobblestone. Put the
stone here, and the cobblestone here. You can click on it to increase its price, as
you can see the value's going up. It goes up one per click, and shift and click makes
it go up by ten. You can decrease the price by one each by right clicking, as you can
see it's going down to 22. So you can also do it with the sand for this, so 4 sand costs
6 cobblestone and 22 stone, bit of a rip off but..yeah, and you'll find the trade in the
villager...if it wants to work. It's just having a few troubles, but normally that will
work. You can also set a shop name, such as "Hello"...and if you do receive errors like
this (ignore them, read the caption), just contact me and I will sort it out. But, there
ya go, that's pretty much it, so thanks for watching and enjoy the server!
