What we're doing a couple today scenarios for our students in the provincial fences class.
We got some police uniforms donated by Belleville Police Service.
We also have some radios donated by
TAS communications and the college provided us with some
cutie belts for our students to provide a more realistic environment.
It has been done a little bit, last year we
started incorporating it more often,
and because of the success and how much it helps the students we decided to
stay forward contacted our
partners in the community and we all go together to make this happen today.
My excitement and gratitude to our partners in the community to come together and
helping us
make this a a more effective way to reach our students.
I think is really exciting, it's definitely going to be helpful
when we go for placement and when we go for job interviews because then we can write down
you know, that we've done all these kinds of things that help us, will help us in the field and
we've been experimenting with all this different kind of stuff, they are going to be expecting us to do. So I really think it
gives us an edge when it comes to
have the hiring process. Yeah it definitely makes you feel more
comfortable
like going into placement and all that, knowing what can happen what you're supposed to
do,
how you're supposed to reply to what people say it. It's really beneficial for sure.
