Hey I show you how you make a delicious hazelnut from polymer clay. If you want to
know what technique I used and why you need a leaf from a tree, then stay tuned.
The hazelnut takes a lot of material. I used Fimo Classic in green, yellow and
brown and colored chalk. You also need tools, wire and a tree leaf.
It starts with the hazelnut, this is molded and placed on a piece of wire. The yellow
ball is an immature fruit. For the nut I pollinate the blooms with colored chalk,
the later looks out totally genuine.
The leaf of the plant I am modeling only using a cookie cutter and chalk. Then I
take a tree leaf and press it on it. The pattern of the sheet is transferred to the
polymer clay.
Then bake and varnishing and the hazelnut is ready. I now totally feel like
roasted nuts.
