So this is Bilderberg 2013, when you arrive you are frisked by G4S they check your bags
for anything that's in there but as soon as you arrive for the first year ever there is
a press office which has never happened before.
So this is the press office. They have 4G, they have electricity to charge your phones.
There's a huge number of citizen journalists here all hoping they can charge and livestream
and take videos and take pictures and do interviews and it's the first time it's ever happened
so I guess that's one win for transparency. But then this is where the conference actually
takes place.
This is about as close as you can get to the Grove Hotel. It's about half a mile away you
can see it behind the trees and everybody that's attending the Bilderberg conference
is kept behind this line.
This says that anybody who crosses this line is effectively trespassing and will be arrested
and there's security right the way along and a big fence which everybody's sat behind.
And then everybody gathers his because the entrance to the hotel is just up here and
every single time a delegate comes in they're met with boos, people *** on the side of
the railings and generally express their discontent. It's pretty difficult to get anywhere near
the cars unlike Chantilly last year so people are trying to take pictures of the delegates
but it's difficult with blacked out windows and they drive past so quickly. So everybody's
here just to express being mad about a secretive meeting taking place half a mile away over
there.
So we wandered round, we spoke to as many people as we could. Luke Rudowski from We
Are Change was here, Press for Truth, Charlie Skelton, Alex Jones was here earlier to a
huge rapturous applause. We're expecting David Icke on Saturday so loads of people here all
with an opinion about what takes place just half a mile away in that hotel.
