This service can be found under the Administrative services signpost, under the manage users option.
You can search for a user by inputting their
user id or their surname. If there's more than one person with the same surname, an
additional screen will appear, listing all users with the same surname for you to choose from.
Once you've found the correct account details,
the links on the right hand side of the screen can be used to change different aspects of
their account. These are covered in other tutorials. To go back to the search options,
select the previous button. You can widen your search by selecting the More search options
and show all user accounts. Selecting More search options takes you to
this screen. Here you can search for users with a common identity, such as all users
in a particular group. You can select one from the drop down menu.
The system will then display the name and user ID of each member of the selected group
if there's more than one member, and you'll need to choose which user you want to view.
In this instance there's only one user associated with that group, so their details are shown
straight away. You can also show all user accounts and select an account from there.
Or search by a specific account type or account role. You can return to the initial manage users
screen by selecting the x. From here you can search again, choose another service from
the signposts on the left or logout.
