It´s only an hour from The Hague to Antwerp by train.
We arrived on the afternoon and we didn´t have place to stay.
Friendly stuff of tourist information advised us to a cheap hostel. And next to it was this vegetarian Indian restaurant.
Plates are already empty. For desert we have something like sweet carrot casserole. After this we´ll see what´s around in town
I expect to find lot of lambic beer and good jazz music.
Next to the monumental museum of MAS is this experimental art project.
The project want to test how people can live sustainable way and produce food in the center of city.
Just behind of us is the main railway station of Antwerp and next to it is this diamond district.
Also the underground station is also called Diamant. Here is about 150 to 200 diamond and jewelry stores.
A diamond merchant just offered me that he could make my head out of gold and add some diamonds to eyes and hair could be ivory.
Seems that everything is available.
85% of the global raw diamond and half of the cut diamonds sales goes through this town.
Here´s diamond auction, bourse or something like that, and here available all kind of equipment for diamond measuring, examination and cutting.
This is definately good place for those who´s searching diamond rings. Here should be enough options for everybody.
First we thought that to be a diamond seller person must wear black clothes and a funny hat...
Diamond selling has been in the hands of orthodox Jewish, but nowadays also Chinese, Indians and people from middle east share the market.
Bar review...
Or, I mean, the jazz special!
We are in Antwerp in bar called De Muze.
There´s about twenty beers on the list, bar has three floors and service works fine.
And on daily basis a jazz band plays at ten p.m. There´s no entrance fee. Only drinks cost something.
Awesome bar... Antwerp... Cheers!!!
