With most designs, you can size, move, rotate and mirror image the design. Let's go ahead
and pick design number 57 from the USB stick. It's a little trick in here. We're going to
first start off by telling the machine we have a much larger hoop than it says it will
fit in.
Touch the hoop icon and go to hoop size, arrow to the right, and tell it 360 by 200. That
way, we'll have the ability to move things around. First off, you've got mirror image
down here. You can actually see when you touch it. It will flip the chicken around and show
you with the icon which way you're going.
On this machine, you can actually flip him upside down. You can actually have all the
different directions with a quick little touch of the mirror image, so 4 different mirror
images of your design.
When you go into alt, you can go here and see that you can size the design up. As you
change it, it will highlight to what number you are changing it to. You'll be able to
also decrease it as well. To get back to the default setting, just touch it until the numbers
are no longer highlighted.
We can move the design anywhere we want within this area. We can move it down. The longer
you hold the buttons, the faster it moves and so forth. We also can rotate this design.
Use the 90 degrees to rotate it to the side. Upside down, 270 degrees, or back to where
we started.
I do like that even though you can't see the design here, when you go back to the stitch
out screen, you will see your design flipped to the side before you sew, so you'll know
if you actually have it the way you want it to be.
With it being able to size, move, rotate and mirror, you can get this to be exactly where
you want. To really be sure you have it noted where you want, touch okay 4 times. This will
push the needle to the outside corners to let you trace around all the areas, the outside
perimeter of the design.
Remember to touch it a last time to return the needle to the center of your design. That
way you can move it anyway, up or down, to make sure you're right where you need to be.
Push the start/stop button on the front of the machine to start embroidering.
