If your Heritage Safe comes with Sergent Greenleaf
electronic lock
the opening index or factory default code is one, two,
three, four, five, six, # (pound).
This will allow you
access the safe door
to where if you would like
you can change the combination to the safe.
To change the combination you'll use
the D-Tab lever either located on the bottom of the door
or on the hinge side of the door.
This particular safe
is on the bottom of the door.
Push in on the trigger
and rotate the bolts out.
Again, when you do this, do not close the door,
and knock the paint off the safe.
Okay, with the door open,
to change your combination
You'll first start out and you'll press seven, four, * (star).
You will then enter in the current combination of the safe.
Which in this instance is one, two,
three, four, five, six, # (pound)
After you have pressed that pound sign
You should hear five
quick beeps
After you hear those then press one
then * (star).
Then enter in the code you'd like
to change it into keeping in mind that it does have to be six digits.
Follow that with the # (pound) sign.
You'll then hear three beeps and then you have to re-enter the new code again
for verification.
You'll then hear three beeps again then go ahead
and let the lock sit there for just a second,
about ten or fifteen seconds
and then go ahead and try your new code.
If everything goes
the way that it should, you should be able to access the door.
If not,
please make sure that your old combination is working
and that it'll still take your old combination.
If it will not,
please go ahead and give us a call at
(208) 425-3052 for problem shooting.
