[CAR ENGINE]
LEO PARENTE: We're going to do some racecar
pr0n with the Viper.
They've added 25 kilos.
So you win your first race-- congratulations--
add some weight.
The car's still competitive?
TOMMY KENDALL: Yeah, we'll see.
That's 25 kilos.
55 pounds is not insignificant.
On these cars, the tires, the Michelin tires are so good,
the cars get faster every lap.
You burn half a gallon of fuel.
Four pounds shows up on the watch.
And so that much--
it works.
LEO PARENTE: Can you put the weight anywhere?
TOMMY KENDALL: Yes.
And actually--
the front splitter, I was walking by it, and we've got a
brass little piece.
And it looks like--
it's our gold tooth.
It's our grill.
And basically, having some mass low and in front where
they wanted it.
So it's in the car.
LEO PARENTE: There's a huge wicker in the back wing.
All about downforce in the back of the car
to plant these things?
TOMMY KENDALL: Well, a little bit.
But sometimes, I've found, more often than not, adding
downforce-- even if it's not perfectly balanced--
it almost always helps the car go quicker.
And so the wicker obviously gives more proportionally to
the rear, but it tends to also make the underbody more
effective, some of that stuff.
And so it plants the rear more, but it plants
the whole car also.
LEO PARENTE: Helmet time, next time, at [INAUDIBLE]?
TOMMY KENDALL: Petique, yeah.
LEO PARENTE: Cool.
Thanks.
TOMMY KENDALL: Thanks.
LEO PARENTE: Go get them.
TOMMY KENDALL: Thanks.
LEO PARENTE: Thank you, thank you.
Watch this.
I gotta go.
Eight liters of SRT V10 grind.
[CAR ENGINE]
LEO PARENTE: Even when restricted to only a 5,750 RPM
redline, the Viper goes hard and wins.
GT rules say 5.5 liters is the engine restriction, but GT
exemptions give Viper eight liters of power.

But before we get too wordy and you go clicking away--
you know how some people don't like to talk during sex?
Or when the hottest girl or guy walks in the room,
everyone shuts up?
Well, this is Shakedown racecar pr0n for SRT Viper,
maybe the most mega-looking GT car in the America Le Mans
series and the USCR.
Maybe the world.
And certainly the most bodacious Viper since there
was a first Viper.
So why ruin the moment with words, when your eyes and
senses can do the job?
And as every girl in my life inevitably said to me, Leo,
just shut up and let's enjoy this.
