Music plays...
I think within our company we very clearly understand the value
and the importance of diversity for the organization as a whole.
That's what creates the proper environment for discussion that is very comprehensive,
inclusive. So when we engage in these mentoring programs, it's a great opportunity for many
of our people to take a step back from the hectic
daily activities that pretty much
rule the days of everyone...
to step back a little bit and say, "Okay,
how do I better communicate?
How do we better educate? How do we really bring back a
essential
piece of knowledge?"
For organizations such as ours that have in community service and volunteerism a core
part of everything we do...
I think it's a privilege to have an organization such as an Enable America to partner with.
It's not, It would not be,
let me say, as easy
to embark on an effort
that has
a high probability of success in achieving its goals...
if you didn't have an organization that would put together, from beginning to end,
the steps and the connections necessary for the program to work the best.
And I think Enable America has been
very successful in putting that program together.
You don't really have to do anything flashy... it comes from the heart.
It comes from cooperation and, you know, we take a few hours
from our daily affair...
and dedicate in that regard and
it's, it's a very fulfilling. I think that's probably the best word that I can use
to describe
what the participants have felt so far.
We put on the table what we think went well, what didn't and what was new about
this last event that we didn't realize before.
So there is a continuous improvement to the program approach
that continues to make it better and better every time. It's rather simple, it's not complicated
and there is evolving
approach to it that makes it quite robust.
Don't have any fear
of engagement.
I know it may sound intimidating,
but I guarantee you, there is an enormous amount of people out there that honestly
will benefit from it.
So if they can just take this step
to be bold enough to
engage,
I think the rewards are going to be seen
very, very quickly and
the feeling of this is good, it's interesting and I feel more prepared...
becomes very visible, very quickly.
First of all there should be no hesitation.
This is an organization fundamentally also based integrity in an honest
commitment to to make a difference.
They should
open up,
hear what Enable America has to offer.
It's in the least a very
worthwhile experience for these companies to get to know
what Enable America's capable of and what it does.
It really is something that fits in very well with who we are and the way we are.
