Now I’m going to talk about fitting glasses for someone who has a more square face. Here
they tell me the general rule of thumb is that you should go with rounded glasses. Well
unless you do a lot of Civil War reenactments that’s probably not going to be the set
of glasses for you in my opinion. I prefer fitting people who have square faces with
what I call a rounded rectangle. That’s going to be this one right here, if you notice
the edges are a little bit more rounded, it’s not a complete rectangle but it is more elongated
than say this circular one over here, okay. So try to find something that has a little
bit more rounded edges, you still want to go with something that kind of goes I would
say with your jaw line, kind of maybe the height of your brow for instance. But it is
different than going with just a straight rectangle which is going to be exemplified
over here, this one is a definite rectangle, very angular so not going to be a very smooth
frame for your shape of face, so again try to go with a rounded rectangle, I think that
is going to look better and at least that will be a good starting place.
