Excuse me for showing my grief, I don't mean to start no beef. But my parents were chained you've
taken my name and my culture went into a heap. Way back before you were born your parents
started to farm, their crops were called slaves and no effort was made to treat them like
people should be. Oh excuse me for showing my grief I don't mean to start you no beef
but it's got to be said that the treatment we had started the problems you see. Any man,
woman or child as hated as much as we are and treated unfair would be filled with despair
and difficult to repair. Oh excuse me for showing my grief I don't mean to cause you
no beef, but when its all said in done the ills that have become America's greatest defeat.
But now we live in times that's fair you say racism has disappeared or is it the truth
you try to pretend like Hitler it never began. Oh excuse me for showing my grief but somebodies
got to believe the ills facing blacks are from years of neglect, exclusion and racist
deceit. Oh excuse me for showing my grief it's time for you to believe, that the damage
is done when an apology comes its not enough to relieve. Our grief. the press has biasedly
chose to emphasize problems we pose and in the results the world sees us naught as equal
use racist words against a gifted black girl who decides to run for he life. Oh excuse
with care and true equality.
