Hi, it's book review Wednesday and today I'd like to tell you about a book by John Kotter
called "Leading Change." It's a book that I've referred to often when I've done change management
projects for my clients. What I love about the book is Kotter describes many
of the reasons why change projects fail in organizations and, of course, I can assure you
it's mostly to do with people resisting change, which is really common,
and then, he goes into his eight-stage process for leading change.
I've actually followed this eight-stage process in a number of my client projects and I can
attest that it does work. So if you're trying to change anything in an organization or within
your own business, you're trying to bring in new initiatives and you're finding that
people are resistant to change and you're not getting the traction that you want,
I highly recommend this book, check it out and let me know what you think.
