This is the Samsung video editor that is found on the Galaxy class
Samsung devices. So in order to get started I am going to click the plus sign.
and select the Theme.
The themes, well...for lack of
a better word
they are cheesy.
If you feel so inclined on using them
go right ahead...
I'm going to select "None."
Okay, we are looking at the main editing screen
you have a choice of
selecting videos that you've recorded with the this device, you can import
videos from your cameras, outside cameras
you can import images and audio can even use the internal camera to record
photos of yourself or videos of yourself.
I have some videos selected
and entered into it
and I am just look for my test video
...this is the one.
(sound of subway entering the station)
Okay.
that is the video that I want.
you press, hold
and drag it
to the time
Let's say that i wanted to add an image as well.
I am going to tap Image
i'm going to select
i'm gonna go
with this photo of the ocean.
Click, I meant to say
press hold
and drag to the time line.
So now I have the photo.
This is a transition marker...
and i have the video in the timeline.
Hit T for Title
Press Done
Okay, we have a photo,
we have a title
the next thing you can have
is a transition.
Basically these are the standard transitions.
You should probably stick with the dissolve or fade transitions.
and you can always see what you've done
Okay, so
with just a tap
you can go ahead and
perform that transition
Next, we need to edit this video.
so i wanna get to just about the point where the train arrives
I double click on the video in the timeline. This will bring up the scissors.
and
i have split the video into two sections.
i don't want this part
so
I will move the guides...
these are tricky rascals...
I just want...
that much
i have
I have just about every thing i need. If it was adding audio to this
uh... i could add background audio down here on the audio track.
I'm going to go with the native sounds of the videos at this point.
Now,
I always believe in saving
still will go ahead and save this project which is going to give it a
default name, Project 5
okay
Then I want to select this menu
where you have choices.
You can change the theme
you can Export
Save As
and Share.
so i'm going to
Export...
uh...
For 720p video you are going to use the HD option.
and others like to give it a slightly different came in case something goes
wrong
...let's just call this Test
Click Done...
and now the video is Exporting
i would keep these videos into this video editing application
under one minute.
Pay attention to that saving location where the video is being recorded.
Oops, it just went away.
Because you're going to have to find the video.
So we're gonna get out of this program...
okay so we're in the application screen
and your system may be different but you want to look for a folder called My
files or My folder
this is the internal memory care
Ths his external memory card your video is probably stored on the internal storage
Go down to the bottom and locate the Videoeditor folder.
and there's your video.
