Hi, I'm Douglas Willott and on behalf of Expert Village we're going to be talking about online
jean shopping today. Alright, there's some advance techniques you can use for internet
shopping that apply to jean shopping as well. That's great if you now bought your jeans,
they've come to you, and you feel more confident with shopping online. Or perhaps you're just
willing to dive right in and you're not that concerned about getting it wrong or you feel
confident in the first place you've purchased other things on the internet. A great technique
I like to use is opening up multiple internet windows when I do my shopping. That way I
don't lose track of what stores have what price. If I see a price I like in one site
and I open up another site with a better price, well I've got them both open to compare back
and forth. Or if the first site I go to has the best price, I don't have to go back in
my head and think of all the different sites to think of which ones has the best price.
Additionally, some people like to have pen and paper right next to them. Or you could
open up one of your word processor to write all that information down on your computer.
Also, how much do you want to spend? If you're willing to buy more than one pair, oftentimes
you can get free shipping because you're getting more than one pair, and they want to give
you good customer service. Another thing to remember when shopping, always factor in shipping
to your final price. It's possible if you're trying to save money that you're actually
going to save money by going to the store even if it's cheaper online. Because shipping
is going to add up and make it so it's now as expensive as it would be in the store or
more expensive. And the discount that you were initially getting is now null and void.
Finally, the more you shop the more stores you should get familiar with. We talked about
some pretty mainstream stores right now, but there are some various boutiques that allow
for shopping online. Or other sites that may be up and coming, brand new that just haven't
been heard of yet or aren't going to pop up on the search engine that may better prices
than a lot of the mainstream sites we talked about today. The more you shop the more comfortable
you can get with various sites. Always look for internet reviews if you're unsure of a
site. Look for other people who have used it and testimonials not necessarily from that
site itself, but from various other consumer sites that can testify without having any
sort of bias.
